Members of the society pay an annual subscription which entitles them to free entry to all six Winter Season concerts and regular newsletters. The subscription for the 2010-2011 Season is unchanged at £52. This represents a saving of £23 on the cost of paying £12.50 for each individual concert.
Some members also become ‘Friends of the Society’ by contributing a donation to the society’s funds. We would request that any donations are ‘gift aided’. You can download our gift aid form. (Adobe Acrobat PDF file)
Members’ contact details (name, postal address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number and email address) are kept on computer. Under the terms of the Data Protection Act these will not be passed to any third party and are used only to enable us to contact members of the society. (In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we would need to contact members urgently – hence the need for home and mobile telephone numbers and email address).
Those who were members in the previous season will receive a Membership Pack before the new season starts. Others wishing to join the society should send full contact details (as listed in the paragraph above) and a cheque for £52 made out to ‘Clitheroe Concerts Society’, plus an additional donation if you wish to become a Friend of the Society, to the Membership Secretary:
