Members of the society pay an annual subscription which entitles them to free entry to all six Winter Season concerts and regular newsletters. For the 2010-2011 season, the subscription is unchanged for a third year at £52. We have only managed this thanks to the generosity of those members who pay a donation in addition to their subscription (see below). The £52 annual subscription represents a saving of £23 on the cost of paying £12.50 for each individual concert.
Those who were members in the previous season will receive a Membership Pack before the new season starts. Others wishing to join the society should send full contact details (name, postal address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number and email address) and a cheque for £52 made out to ‘Clitheroe Concerts Society’, to the Membership Secretary:
Mrs Ann Robinson, 447 Revidge Road, Blackburn, BB1 8DH
It is not possible for the Society to reclaim Gift Aid on members’ subscriptions; it is therefore to our advantage if donation income, on which we can reclaim Gift Aid, is maximised. We would therefore request that if you can afford it, you consider making a gift-aided donation to the society’s funds in addition to your subscription.
If you would prefer to Pay by Credit or Debit card, rather than sending a cheque, you can do so here on-line. Payments are made via PayPal; you do not have to be registered with PayPal to use our system.
To Pay Your Membership Subscription, hover your mouse over the ‘Membership’ tab above, click on the ‘Membership Subscription’ tab and complete the form that appears.
To Make a Donation, hover your mouse over the ‘Membership’ tab above, click on the ‘Donations’ tab, read the information and then click on the orange ‘Donate’ button before entering the required information.
Apologies that paying the subscription and any donation you may make are separate transactions. This makes it easier for us to keep the Gift Aid records that Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs require.
Members’ contact details are kept on computer. Under the terms of the Data Protection Act these will not be passed to any third party and are used only to enable us to contact members of the society. In the unlikely event of a cancellation, we would need to contact members urgently – hence our request for home and mobile telephone numbers and email address.
